We’re Not Really Strangers started as a game designed to create meaningful connections.

Now, with 10m+ followers, it’s a lifestyle brand that embodies a generation coming of age in a digital world…


What looks and sounds true to the brand?
Visually, we kept the brand simple, honest, and human: limited colors, generous white space, and clear typography. Photography felt raw and unfiltered, like something you’d capture on an iPhone. The goal was to let the human experience speak for itself.

With limited space and often busy UI, one challenge was creating a sense of openness within email inboxes. To bypass built-in styles and limited customization in automated email platforms, I created custom templates for greater control over each design.
